Xavier Goodridge Pa Pa Pinot Noir 2024

Share

The fruit for this wine is sourced from Mount Gambier and Heywood in South West Victoria. It offers impressive intensity and complexity at this price point. Dark cherry, pine needle, hazelnut and woody nutmeg spice lead the aromatic profile, with delicate notes of cherry blossom adding lift. It’s bright and gently autumnal in tone. The palate is cooling and lifted, opening with a swath of dark cherry and hazelnut, followed by hints of red rose, cranberry, and subtle decaying leaf. Fine, chalky tannins frame the finish, carried by a push of kirsch-laced acidity. Bright, fresh and puckish, yet with plenty of depth to enjoy. Nicely done.
