Dances bright and lively which seems to very much be a 2025 Peninsula Pinot thing. It is a picture of youthful vibrancy, but look under the hood and there is a Pinot engine humming along in cruise control, gathering pace and depth, as it continues to age. Aromas of red currant and red berries, black cherry, plum, rose petal, musk florals, anise and earth. The palate delivers a wonderful textural build with lithe, fine tannins before a lip smacking fresh finish. Elegant throughout with a light sappy, leafy, herbal edge and bright acidity, it is all set for a wonderful life. Those short on patience will be equally rewarded, too.
