Yalumba Vat 11 Dry Grown Grenache 2023

Share

Redskins, wild cherry and redcurrants on the vine. Lofty Heliotrope and lilac florals. Pink peppercorn and glace papaya. Acidity is soaring and captures the intensity of red fruit, driving it down the palate with fine sandy tannins. There is a pulpy, plummy mid palate, that makes for really satisfying drinking. Cinnamon, star anise and carob spice on the finish. This showcases the quality and scarcity of dry grown quality Grenache vines in the Barossa. Drinking beautifully now, very integrated but will cellar for another 3-6 years. A beautiful wine to sip alongside duck spring rolls.
