Yelland and Papps Blanc 2023

Share

Made from Roussanne grapes. 64% into seasoned French puncheons for 8 months and 36% into tank. Ripe lemon skin, papaya and golden apples. Candied pear and marigold petals. The palate has upfront acidity that falls away to tropical yoghurt creaminess and almond flour. Orange blossom honey and linseed. Ripe and tropical without a syrupy feel this is a lovely food wine for drinking now. Think, roast chicken and leek pie with flakey pastry.
