Yelland & Papps Cinsault Mourvèdre Rosé 2023

Onion skin pink in the glass. Strawberry sorbet and raspberry sherbet balls. Potpourri florals, musk and dried peaches. A hint of watermelon and aloe vera. It’s clear that Yelland & Papps meticulous craftsmanship has been applied here with perfume and palate being of equal consideration. There is a revitalising energy that begins and ends with ripe fruit and a truss of acidity. Bone dry with an exotic orange citrus note that envelops the back palate. Serious Rosé with all the pleasure that a pink blush can offer. Drink now or will cellar up to 8 years. A nice marriage might be whiting fillets dusted in a salt and pepper sprinkle.
