Zonte’s Footstep Hills Are Alive Shiraz 2023

Share

Shiraz is not a one trick pony and this shows why. Here from a vineyard at the northern border of the official Adelaide Hills region, specifically in the Mt Pleasant district, close to the south-east corner of the Barossa region, virtually Eden Valley. You can see its location quite clearly in the glass, the wine certainly carrying a cooler climate sense of identity – more dark cherry than ripe blackberry, with a gravelly texture and black pepper spice through the palate. A Shiraz with a clear sense of its place.
