Alkimi Cabernet 2019

Share

I really enjoyed this quite classic cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon with 13% alcohol which opens with aromas of boot polish, graphite and gravel supported by well balanced French oak and a little cedary side just starting to build. Mid weight with some underlying tension to start before opening up into a generous, supple expression although with a firm al-dente tannin grip. Quite serious and approachable at the same time.
