King’s Creed Fiano 2023

It is probably too early to start calling Fiano a mainstream variety, but it is certainly on the way. From the Fleurieu Peninsula, this has a pale straw hue and provides notes of stonefruit, minerals with hints of figs, spices and a flick of citrus. Peaches are prevalent and the structure, at this early stage, is tight and even a little muted. It does open up on the palate with fine but juicy acidity. Fresh and a little more elegant than some of the other Fianos on the market, enjoy it over the next year.
