Ampersand Estates Pemberton Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Share

Not your usual über herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc, but rather a smart and tasty young Sauvignon delivering a generous mouthful of flavour mixing herbals with light tropical fruits and a light touch of the exotic. Peach, passionfruit pulp, gooseberry and grapefruit citrus aromas come with a touch of lychee. This Sauvignon boasts a textural quality, it is quite a feature of the wine – an adjunct to what is some fairly brisk acidity – with a creamy, leesy mealiness that sits alongside ginger, sorrel, dusty herbals and a core of stone fruits, apple and pear topped with a squeeze of passionfruit pulp.
