Angullong Pinot Noir Fossil Hill 2024

This fresh and bright Pinot from the Orange region is crafted from a range of clones, some destemmed and some whole bunch, before maturation in French oak. The colour is a bright and yet pale garnet. The freshness is immediately apparent on the nose, with notes of strawberries, raspberries, florals and cherry pits. A wine of medium length and juicy acidity, there is finesse and balance, along with a lingering finish with satiny tannins. It would benefit from another year or two in the cellar and can then be enjoyed over the following four to five.
