Angullong Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Share

The cool hills around Orange have a secret. They are the most undervalued wine region for Sauvignon Blanc in the country. And when wines with delicacy and finesse rather than fruit power are gaining in popularity, Orange’s stocks are only going to rise.

This wine from Angullong is a great example of the Orange style. It’s pale in colour and shows vibrant and gently aromatic guava, citrus and grassy fruits. It is then reserved, dry and quite serious with real fruit impact which drives a long and pristine finish, like a quick dip in a mountain stream. Great food wine to enjoy over the next two years and good value. It is a well-deserved trophy winner from the Australian Highlands Wine Show.
