From a season that was nigh on perfect, this is a mighty impressive Shiraz from the Adelaide Hills. It’s medium-bodied, as you would expect, but there is excellent flavour intensity and concentration, delivered with great style.Colour is a dark red with a hint of crimson. And on the nose, you get a slightly peppery, blackberry character with a touch of plum. The palate is sublime, showing concentrated ripe red fruits with nice oak treatment integrated. It has a slightly chalky textural feel that is pleasing. It’s a stylish and slightly elegant wine of great energy.
