Aramis Vineyards Willunga Creek Reserve Shiraz 2022

Share

A witches brew of a wine and one that would benefit from a decant to allow the pool of blackberries, Acai and bilberries to unfurl. Nigella and caraway seed feature throughout, as does coffee flecks and wattleseed spice. There is a rise of mulberry, slightly sweeter and ripe in the middle and the wine finishes with the same allure of those dark ground spices. All in all, this is a wine to spend some time with, fruit dominant and built off grainy tannins and upright shape. Drink now or cellar for another 5-8 years further. Irish stew for the pairing win.
