Open and generous aromas of decaying rose, clove, dusty nuance, subtle bramble, dark cherry, and dried crushed thyme. Some air unlocks a tilled earth note adding to the complexity. Quite complex aromatics, with depth and array. The medium bodied palate is tighter coiled and cool in feel, with red cherry, crushed herbs, and cranberry firmly wrapped up in stacked, chalky tannins before a big cooling acid line pulls it long. A complex and classy Chianti Classico that needs time in cellar to unfurl.
