Barratt Chardonnay Uley Vineyard 2022

Share

High altitude Chardonnay showing all the things I love best, solids, French oak and lees stirring combined to create a delicious wine. In the glass classic stone fruit and yellow pear, fine vanilla bean oak and tense ruby grapefruit acid were revealed. Savoury structure is added with a mealy bread dough weight adding to the silky rounded palate. Delicate florals add a prettiness as does the honeydew melon. You are in Chardonnay territory here, but classy Chardonnay, always a bonus. Finish is fine and fresh.
