Toby and wife Emmanuelle continue to make some of the best and most regionally expressive wines from McLaren Vale. Syrah of course is a strong suit. In this case the blend also includes fruit from the rejuvenated Clarendon Estate Vineyard which appears to bring additional brightness and spices into an already vibrant high energy wine style. This one is a cracking good wine. Bright scented aromas of plum and cherry with a spicy lift. The palate is so seamlessly crafted with fine grainy tannins working seamlessly and the oak so well integrated. Cascades effortlessly across the palate. Love it.
