Bekkers McLaren Vale Syrah Grenache 2023

A thoroughly beautiful and almost pretty expression of McLaren Vale. The fruit comes from Clarendon Hills for the Syrah and Blewitt Springs for the Grenache. It’s a bright and elevated wine with lifted aromatics of red fruits and spice. Strikes a balance between the medium-weight red fruit and the fine grained oak. Has a slightly savoury ironstone character which probably emerges from the Blewitt Springs component, providing a nice offset to the more opulent Syrah.
