A co-ferment of Shiraz and 5% Viognier, Two Wives is a dark, peppery combo of the two grapes. Endowed with abundant dark berries, licorice strap, black pepper aromas, it’s an intriguing introduction. As it settles on the palate, a broader flavour profile emerges one peppered (so to speak) with savoury, meaty, earthy notes. At its core remains a delightful pepperiness immersed among the juicy fruit, spice and the warm, toasty oak (a combination of French and American oak staves and French barriques). Plenty of life and energy to this wine.

She was named Wine Communicator of the Year and Legend of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival in 2014 and in 2018 Legend of the Vine. She is a founding board member of Australian Women In Wine and is the co-deputy chair of Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards and China’s Wine List of the Year Awards.
