Bellarmine Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Share

Sauvignon Blanc loves a cool climate so no great surprises in what we find here with a bright, fresh and beautifully aromatic wine from Pemberton in the Great Southern. Pale in colour, it is much more citrus rather than tropical scented, which you often see in Australian Sauvignons, with a distinct nod towards the Loire Valley with its vibrant nettle and grapefruit aromas that are nicely focussed. It is followed by a light weight and zippy palate with very crisp acidity the main feature underpinning a bed of grapefruit flavours. It’s a refreshing Summer drink on its own but is also well suited to crisp vegetable tempura.
