Bethany Wines G.R. Reserve Shiraz 2022

Share

G.R. offers a ripe, sweet fruited Barossa Shiraz that is easy to get to know and enjoy. It is super smooth and friendly in its approach, but there is also some serious substance, too. And that is possibly what we enjoy most about a good Barossa Shiraz. There is plentiful chocolate panforte, dark plums, blackberry, chocolate buds, aniseed and a lingering thread of high spice. Lives large on the palate with a generous woody spiced oak component bringing warmth and contributing supple, textural tannins with a hint of spearmint herbals to close. A complex wine in total control now and with a big future ahead.
