B&H Roses & Thorns Great Southern Shiraz 2024

Great Southern Shiraz which shows the quality we can expect from this stellar region. The colour is dark maroon. There is still some toasty oak, which contributes an appealing toastiness, and does need a little time to complete integration. The nose gives us notes of black fruits, graphite, black cherries, beef stock and cloves, with spices which seem to be trying very hard to edge to the peppery end of the spectrum. There is a sleek texture here with a supple palate, fine tannins and a persistent finish. Good balance throughout, this is a wine which will offer pleasure for at least the next ten years.
