This is, reliably, an excellent representation of Roussanne. Exotic fruit notes of mangosteen, loquat and papaya are gently cradled by the curves of seasoned oak maturation. Calamansi lime skin and marigold florals bring aromatic lift, while a highlight of green toffee apple adds intrigue. The acidity moves in soft, undulating waves, giving the wine both shape and fluidity. Roussanne has a way of moving differently. It is texturally expressive and quietly compelling. Impossible not to be both enamoured and intrigued. Try this with a creamy polenta and roast chicken.
