Brini Christian Shiraz 2016

From a great vintage for the McLaren Vale region, the colour here is a dark, deep maroon. Notes of warm earth, cloves, licorice, soy, freshly unearthed root vegetables, cherries and cranberries are all to be found on the nose. Quite grippy in style with slightly burly tannins, the wine is of medium length and will provide pleasure over the next eight years. As noted, this is from an excellent vintage and the wine reflects that.
