This is a quality Pinot Noir for this price. It’s from a very good year in the Yarra Valley and provides exceptional drinking. Bright cherry notes on the nose with a spicy clove-like character. The palate is medium weight but surprisingly plush and has that typical pinot bony tannin structure, while the mix of some new and largely older oak sits harmoniously.
