Brini Limited Release Sebastian Shiraz Single Vineyard 2013

A 12-year-old McLaren Vale wine from Blewitt Springs that belies its age, showing classic regional character. Aromas of slightly leathery, plummy notes are present, as expected with some bottle age, while the palate is deeply layered and complex, offering touches of spice, old library book, and rich, dark prune-like fruits. Despite its depth, the wine remains elegant and stylish, with a slightly dusty nuance complementing the plush fruit. A terrific example of the region and sub-region.
