Brockenchack Miss Bronte Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Share

From a single vineyard planted in 2012 in the Eden Valley, this is named after the family’s eldest granddaughter, Bronte. It has done extremely well in wine shows around the world. Cracking value for a wine which will easily sail through a decade in the cellar. Dark purple in colour; the aromas are a blend of cassis, plums, blackberries, dark chocolate, cigar box, spices and black olives. There is some oak evident but the integration is good and progressing well. Good balance and excellent length, right through to the firm but satiny tannins. Like most of the wines in this release, a highlight is good fruit focus. Drinking this now is fine, but it will age and improve over the next six to ten years.
