Brokenwood 1899 Old Vines Vineyard Semillon 2023

This is about as pure as things get. Old vine Hunter Semillon from vines planted in 1899, then handpicked, crushed, chilled and fermented without oak. It was a very late harvest, which has allowed a flavour build-up while not compromising that keen crispness that is so Hunter when the wines are young. Has a crunchy, minerally mouth feel and will suit cellaring in the medium term.
