Brokenwood Rosato 2021

Share

Why Rosato? Well this is Brokenwood’s take on a classically dry, tangy and distinctly Italian style of rosé, which has been made largely from a combination of nebbiolo and sangiovese. It’s given this wine some real appeal, impact and also a food friendly focus. It’s a pretty rose petal pink colour and opens with an array of watermelon, white strawberry and sour cherry aromas plus the faintest dusting of spice. The fruit is then bright and juicy with that acidity from the Italian grape varieties adding a delicious refreshing bite before gliding toward a lingering finish. Enjoy with oysters topped with rosé granita.
