Magarey Lane Glenroy Shiraz 2019

Under Diam, this is a serious Shiraz from the Coonawarra region. Deep maroon in colour, there are lashings of chocolate here. Plenty of oak as well, which has been well handled, we also have aromas weaving through cassis, blackcurrants, dark plums, mocha and coffee beans. Softly textured, this is generous and very approachable, with a lingering finish exhibiting satiny tannins. It should continue to appeal over the next ten to fifteen years.
