One of the latest vintages on record has produced a rich and generously flavoured wine, possessing structure and poise. It was given 100% French oak, but none of it was new, so the inherent fruit qualities emerge with a vibrant purity and energy. Palate coating flavours with supple tannins reveal flavours of dark chocolate, dusty, earthy and cherry. There’s an ethereal lightness of touch on the palate that sets this apart. Cracking good wine.
