Stands to reason that a vintage like 2021 should be ideally suited to Barossa Cabernet, a variety that continually shows how well it can perform in good years. This one is such a powerhouse, loaded with opulent fruit, and yet it delivers with poise and that Cabernet structure that you’re looking for. Aromas of blackberry and dark ripe plum, with a little spice and roasted character evident. It’s rich and opulent, but with a velvety mouthfeel. Lots to like here.
