Burge Family Winemakers Homestead Cabernet Shiraz 2020

It was a vintage that produced wines of slightly more restrained character, lending to more medium-bodied styles. Plenty of dark fruits here, with a liberal blackberry, dark chocolate, slightly cocoa-like character. The palate has slightly more savoury, dried, earthy, herby notes, but there is good plush richness within. It’s a wine with plenty to offer in the medium term.
