Calabria Alternato Montepulciano Nero d’Avola 2021

A most impressive blend of these famous varieties from the Barossa Valley’s Nuriootpa subregion. Bright and lively cherry and cranberry notes on the nose with a little chocolaty richness. The palate is thoroughly delicious with plenty of bright red fruit lifted with fine tannins and crisp acid. The lower alcohol at just 13% contributes to its freshness and vibrancy. That’s where I like to see Nero d’Avola especially.
