Cape Mentelle Chardonnay 2022

Share

Margaret River specialises in Chardonnays with sunny dispositions that beautifully reflect the region’s Mediterranean climate. Cape Mentelle is no different, and in 2022 we see excellent vintage conditions contributing to an aromatic, warm and textural Chardonnay and, yes, one that is very much sunny in disposition. Lime peel, citrus, white peach, toast and almond meal aromas. Speaks of summer stone fruits, nougat and lifted citrus, well defined and assisted in length and impact by a chalky, dry acidity. Almost understated – almost – except for that middle palate richness and texture. Good tension throughout and length.
