Arrives in a bright cherry colour – in shades of brilliant red-maroon – a real eye tempter which follows through pretty smartly into a wine alive in cherry and summer berries. Sweetly fragrant in rising rose florals, cherries, berries, raspberries, dried herbs and blood orange zest. Well rounded and beautifully integrated, the palate rolls through alive in fruit and herbals with a fleshy tannin, well-structured elegance. Winemaker, Peter Dredge, is the man behind this smart youngster. He has built in some nicely restrained oak features together with cola, cocoa and baking spices. Closes on a suitable cherry pip dry finish.
