Lenton Brae In Good Hands Chenin Blanc 2023

Share

Every wine from Lenton Brae’s ‘In Good Hands’ range – the alternative range – so to say – has been great. Good plonk seems to be the base level. Savoury and nonchalant, the Chenin brings salty brine, green olives and candied ginger to the party. I love brine in wine. Gentle, with soft edges – this wine could easily be missed. Apple, honeysuckle, tart lime zest and wet pebbles. A calming yet invigorating energy. Balanced. It’s pithy and has a grippy finish. Nice length. Puckering acid. Lenton Brae excites me at the moment – its current era? Solid wines. Bit bratty.
