The importance of old vines to the flavour of this young Barossa Valley Semillon is something to behold and enjoy. The warmth of honeysuckle aromas, of Meyer lemon, ruby grapefruit and lime is alluring and so inviting. There’s a complexity here in the layers of flavour that slowly unwind on the palate from the citrus and quince paste to apple and pear with a touch of apricot pip. It’s full flavoured and silky textured, brimming in a deliciousness that can be immediately enjoyed. Further ageing is on the cards, should you desire.
