Château Tanunda Terroirs of the Barossa Eden Valley Shiraz 2020

Share

Bold and luxurious, this is an essay in showcasing Eden Valley Shiraz spice with retaining the wine’s essential Barossa address. Could it come from anywhere else? Aged 18 months in oak, there is undeniably a big role here in woodsy spicy oak and bold tannins. To fully release the flavours that inhabit the wine, a swish or three, are recommended. Enjoy what follows, as star anise, liquorice, sage, black pepper and smoky, cigar box oak aromas are fully revealed on the bouquet. It is followed with an equally impressive palate where a rich spiciness comes alive joining bramble, black fruits, chocolate, old leather, dried fruits and a black olive savouriness. Starting to reveal its age, but still capable of a long life.
