Château Tanunda The Château Barossa Valley Bethanian Shiraz 2021

Share

Some serious flavour depth right here. Exudes a powerful mix of plush black fruits and integrated oak with a pleasant side bar of savouriness. Bethanian is a single vineyard and it’s clear why it has been singled out. Its pleasure quotient is high. Australian bush scents mix with blackberry, dark chocolate, earth and warm, smoky salami. Barossa Shiraz doesn’t mind some time in oak. Here, it sees 18 months in new and seasoned French and American oak. The effect is warmly accepted and nicely resolved, bringing added spiciness and generosity. Smart winemaking ties everything together. A notable tannin presence enhances, brightens the plush fruits, brings integrated structure and contributes added freshness.
