Churchview The Bartondale Shiraz 2024

Margaret River Shiraz continues to establish itself as mainstream and we have another very fine example here. It offers compelling evidence that Shiraz from the West can be just as complex as we find from regions such as McLaren Vale and the Barossa. The colour is deep red with a ruby rim. A savoury style with notes of aniseed, soy, cloves, charcuterie, mushrooms and warm earth, it is well focused with good direction, finishing with firm talents. Enjoy this wine over the next six to eight years.
