Cloak & Dagger The Cloak Sangiovese 2022

This famous Italian variety has found a home in northeast Victoria. 70% of the wine spent time in older French oak, the remainder in tank. Deep crimson, we have notes of raspberries, florals, dry herbs, red fruits and a hint of chocolate. An appealing supple texture, very fine tannins and good length. Lots to like here, as this is plusher than some Sangioveses. Now for the next four to six years.
