White lilies, yellow yolked frangipanis and pomelo skin. A softness of orchard fruit at its core, with a hint at bergamot too. The tantalizing scope of fruit and florals intensifies on the palate with honeysuckle and vanilla slice. Oak is subtle but placed in order to bring harmony to the cool climate fruit. Its chilly elevated climate is harnessed in its energy and vitality. A very elegant wine with some whipped butter and cultured creaminess on the finish. This would look elegant beside crystal prawns in wonton skins and a clear chicken both, dotted with green onions. Drink now or will cellar well for another 3-5 years.
