Cooper Burns Mason Barossa Valley Shiraz 2016

A serious value option here with plenty of age already. The colour is a garnet red and this is an appealing mature red, which is exhibiting some complexity. We have notes of plums, aniseed, tobacco leaves and blackcurrants. It is taut and well structured with bright acidity carrying the length, sleek tannins and a lingering finish. Terrific drinking now and over the next two to four years. Likeable and a bargain.
