Corryton Burge The Brigadier Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Share

A leafy, aromatic style of Cabernet that belies its substantial 15% alcohol. There’s structure here and the role of a delightful bunch of herbals – sage, anise, green peppercorn – is a real feature which adds to the natural flow and form of the wine. A harmonious offering of black plums, dark berries, spice and chocolatey oak blend in effortlessly with leaf, herbs and a rich earthiness. There’s a sense of the autumnal, very attractive. It’s tight to open and a swish or two will release all.
