Crabtree Estate Riesling Watervale 2024

Sourced from estate vines aged between 22 and 46 years, from the Watervale sub-region in the Clare Valley, this is a pale lemon/green hue. Beautifully fragrant, the nose offers spices, florals and hints of stone fruit, but is mostly redolent of lemons and limes, with a chalky backing. Good intensity and a lovely, layered palate of decent length, there is a lingering finish and a fine line of acidity. Should provide pleasure for the next six to eight years, likely longer.
