Cramer Hunter Shiraz 2023

From the Glenoak Vineyard in the Hunter Valley, the grapes saw a wild yeast ferment and then spent time maturing in oak, 15% of which was new. An inky maroon colour here, there are appealing aromas of dark cherries, herbs, spices and a minimal whiff of vanilla. Blackberries and plums are also evident. A finely crafted Shiraz with a soft and alluring texture, this has impressive length with notes of liqueur cherries on the palate. Delicious and a beautiful wine which will continue to provide pleasure for at least a decade.
