Curtis Family Vineyards Small Batch McLaren Vale Grenache 2023

This is Grenache in the modern understated medium-bodied style. There’s a slightly sort of funky red berry character here that is immensely appealing. Spicy, a little chocolate, and some floral rose petal notes with a subtle freshly turned earth character. Palate combines the smooth plushness of McLaren Vale Grenache with a slightly sappy astringency providing some balance. Complex and beautiful drinking in the medium term.
