That deep, dark cherry colour, glistening so bright! If this six-year-old Yarra Valley Pinot looks considerably – and surprising – young and fresh, then be prepared for flavours that also belie its age. There is a youthful vitality here that will surprise and delight. The bouquet is all black and red fruits – plum, cherry, cranberry – with tomato leaf, herbal lift, warm spice, with a splash of earthy rhubarb. Shows some youthful assertiveness and elegance, charming spiced fruit flavour, smooth tannins and integrated oak. Just flows so effortlessly as it enters into its sixth year and beyond. Gotts love these kind of complex, delicious little surprises!
