Daosa Natural Reserve NV

Share

Grown in a few sites across the cool Piccadilly Valley. A blend of Pinot Noir 59% Chardonnay 35% and Pinot Meunier 8% with the addition of 15% reserve wines and a total of around 21 months on lees. The wine extends a hand of meyer lemon citrus, coupled with some soft peach, honey crumpets and toasted almonds. Some chamomile and bee pollen round out the flavours and the wine is thirst quenching and yet richly detailed. The time in oak also adds some nutmeg and powdered cinnamon. This is a lovely all round sparkling for toasting special occasion or a bottle shared hotel side in white fluffy robes. Try pairing it with truffle fries.
