De Bortoli Phi Gamay Noir 2024

From the time I brought this one to smell the sweet scents of this variety, I thought it was something special. It didn’t disappoint. Yes, it’s light or medium weight, but it has a beautiful, sweet fruit intensity and a lovely limestone character, adding to its structure. Brilliant flavours, aromatics, red fruits, and florals. Fine, balanced, and deliciously elegant on the palate. The lively mix of roses, violets and strawberries with sweet red fruits is just so engaging. A great drink-now wine.
